6th Grade Parents/Students: Please join us at the High School before the open house for 6th Grade orientation from 5:30 PM-6:00 PM.
Come Join us for Open House on Thursday, August 15th from 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM .
School starts August 16th @ 8:00 AM for 6-12th grade. Breakfast will be served from 7:30-7:50AM in the MHS Safe Room.
We are still under some construction at the High School Building. If we need to reschedule 6th Grade Orientation and Open House we will send out a notice via the app and Facebook.
We hope to see you all Thursday.


On Friday, August 2, 2024 we lost a member of the Minatare Public Schools faculty. Carol
Markheim, kindergarten teacher passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Markheim
was a life-long educator and served students in several districts in the area throughout her life.


FREE screenings and fluoride treatments and limited cleanings for kids under 18.
Families can call for an appointment or walk in. Tomorrow August 6th At WNCC from 9am to 1:30pm.
They have 8 appointments they are wanting to fill.

This Thursday August 1, 2024, we will have our annual Fall parent and athlete meeting in the gym starting at 5:30 p.m. Parents of athletes are highly encouraged to attend as we will cover important information about eligibility and the random drug testing policy (required for all students that participate) along with providing other important information.

Panhandle Public Health District nurses will be available to review immunization records and vaccinate those who need booster shots. Please bring your insurance card. Students with no insurance coverage are eligible for the free Vaccines for Children Program.
Athletic physical forms will be provided.
Students must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.


Who’s ready for some fun?
Minatare Junior Volleyball Camp starts Monday, July 15-Thursday July 18 from 12:00-3:00PM.
We hope to see all of you that signed up on Monday, ready to learn, thrive and most of all have FUN.
See you Monday at 12:00PM in the High School Gym.


Reminder to get those school physicals and immunizations scheduled before school starts on August 16th.
Physicals are required for all students entering Kindergarten, 7th grade and anyone that is participating is athletes.


Summer school 2024 has come to an end. What a great month of exploring, writing & performing two plays, cooking, laughing, & learning.
Summer school ending also means that Mr. Thackeray will now be on his way to his next teaching adventure. He will certainly be missed by all. We wish him the best of luck and welcome him back any time.
Special thanks to Cristal Robbins, Laura McAllister, George Thackeray for putting together a great summer school session. And Thank you to Maribel Guerrero & Isidra Ramirez for preparing Breakfast & Lunch for the students and the staff everyday!

The high school summer school kids and staff have been very busy over the last month. There will be a few more days of activities this week and then they will take a break for the rest of the summer.
They have enjoyed learning, exploring, cooking, they are currently working on a little one act play. More photos will come at the beginning of the week.
Thank you to Laura McAllister, Cristal Robbins and George Thackeray for enriching our students hearts and brains during summer break.











Minatare High School is in the beginning stage of some needed renovations. While we will still be available, our offices are a little out of sorts. Our main line is temporarily out of use.

Summer is coming soon. You may be thinking about what your child will do for meals while school is out. Minatare Public Schools will be having the Summer Food Service Program. It's food that's in, while school is out.
There are no income requirements, and any child under the age of 18 may come to eat.
Starting May 28th and running through June 28th at Minatare Elementary Gym.
Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:00AM and Lunch is served from 11:30-12:30PM Monday through Friday!
